monitor problem

got monitor that act fuuny some time, and if i move it and hit it sometime come back video that, it cut out for no reason and if i also turn it over help made it come back

i got some real funny going on here monitor fickler off on me, goes weird multicolor line across screen, sometime

i got a Packard bell 1511sl monitor, i look in back and flip, thing was mfg. in Nov 1994 and IM running it at 60 Hz

i have 2 problem with it
one old problem it bug the hell out of the TV upstairs, TV is all wavy with line and curve all most made it un watchable, and the monitor is downs stair, turn it off and it clear as a bell put it back on as i get yell at again had the problem since day one, i thin when i got my computer set there gave me a old monitor

two new problem as mention a bit in first line monitor cut out on me when i sometime use it, it has a power indicator light green is normal on, the thing will go to yellow and video is gone just like that for no reason i can think of boom i hit it, move it back again the wall, or move the power cord, which i find stranger to say the least, as it has noting to do with video, esp when it tell me yellow light is still on so it still getting power, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr madding, now i also notice screen move to right and left on me for no reason allso, and there have been a few time when the whole thing disappear on me with it look like doz. of multicolor line across it on a black screen, but it i move it it come back for a while or longer

It's 10 years old. That is quite along time for computer stuff! Your monitor seems to be giving you a heads up that it is "circling the drain"!

If money is the issue, there are good deals to be had in the used market since monitors usually last a long time.

LOL, they were good monitors in thier time. Just cant take whats being thrown at them nowdays.

Do yourself a favor and get a newer one, as mentioned there are some great deals out there now as there are so many used ones you almost have to give them away to get rid of them.

Many others like it out there. Might want to try flea market, ETC as well.

Youll notice and appreciate the differance.
