good power supply recommendation?

I'm in need of a GOOD power supply. My Enermax 431w (EG465p VE) has gone out.

I've heard good things about Enermax, Antec, and Thermaltake's power supplies, so what do you guys recommend?

I'm running:

Asus A7N8X Dlx
Athlon XP 2500+ @ 3200 w/ Vantec Tornado and SLK-900U
2 sata hard drives
1 dvd
1 cdrw
and lots of case fans (using the Thermaltake Xaser III case)

I'm going for Enermax once I get the money for my next upgrade.

I got QTec at the moment, which I've since heard doesn't normally have great reviews, but I've gotta say that I've never had any problems with it.

Here's one for consideration. The Achieve 500w ps championed by Omardeth and reviewed by RobRich.

I just bought an Antec 350W True Power from New Egg for about $ 60.00.

They seem to last forever. I only changed mine because it was 300W and old but was working fine.

IMO...

i run with a thermaltake 480w silent purepower from newegg.com for $65. this thing has really stable voltage rails.... i mean... within 1-2% most of the time... actually... ALL THE TIME! i dont like enermaxes because i have read a few reviews and they dont rank enermax at the top even though the enermaxes cost an arm and a leg. i prefer antec over the enermaxes.

you probably wont need anything over the thermaltake that i have. i have it running sooo many components... overclocking and stuff like that - and yet stable as a rock. plus, it comes with fan controllers which you can control or if you wish, you can let the fan adjust its own speed via temperature control. the best thing i like about this power supply is the fact that the fan in the back is a thermaltake smart case fan II.... which if turned to the max, can push about 70cfm... that can keep the powersupply cool if you need to (say you were running a maximum benchmark with everything in your system overclocked to the maximum).... its always good to know that the back fan is top notch.

lastly, the thermaltake 480w is actually 550w... but they choose to advertise 480 because this is what it runs at operating temperature (~40c-45c). nice to know the company is honest too!
