Your right on the money there robrich, we can sit here all day trying to make you feel better about your ati card, but as long as it suits your needs and usually in a good price range, then that's what matters.
As for me, i completely agree to twistedbrntuckers post, i'm getting sick and tired of all the nvidia bashing just so people can feel better about owning an ati video card.
We all can certainly understand that your happy about owning a nice video card, but why start bashing nvidia when you could be enjoying how video games look or helping other people, otherwise we get no where trying to sort out which is better, nvidia has a budget card that performs well, just not in AA or AF modes and DX9 it gets lower FPS.
ATI has a great all around card that is quite a performer, but usually costs more and it has it's draw backs like most things rendered with AF up, will generally still render most things at 2x AF.
It's sort of like intel and amd, one is faster, and costs more, one is more efficient and costs less.
They are just a consortium with plenty of lots of offer on each side and do what you need to do.
That is a few very good things that the parhelia does have over nvidia and ati, however this is one of those things for differen't needs for differen't people, there aren't a wide variety of 3 monitor games, and most people wouldn't have the money to setup a system like that, I personally wouldn't need or want it, a 21 inch lcd would be plenty for me, however there is another feature tho direct X 9.
Also I don't see nvidia or ati as having bad drivers, both their driver sets are great!
