Hi, Im trying to get windows xp to remember my settings in the my music folder. By default, my music folder has these useless options such as sort by album, length, etc. Back in the previous versions of windows, there was the good old fashioned sort by date. Now, its called by modified and this is significally differnt from date. I did however discover that you can change the sort by order to whatever you want by going to View > Choose Details > Date Created. Thats the same as date in the earlier versions. Which is what I want. Well, the problem is, it dosent remember the settings it might be okay for one restart or so, but eventually it reverts back to the default sort by items. Can anybody help me??
