No usb's work !!

I have had my comp for about a year now. the other day my dsl modem stop working"usb modem" no light on. So I tried my printer and it didn't work. None of my usb ports are working I have 2 on the main board and 2 in the front also, none are working. In the "device manager"\system there are no conflicts. They are enabled in the bios and It is not in "Turbo" as that disables the usb ports. I've cleared the cmos and freshley installed XP still no go. I've tried my printer,camera ,game controller. Nothing works. I haven't put any new hardware in either. I'm lost, need help from the pros now Could they be fried,all at once?

Assuming you've got a good antivirus (and, hopefully, a spyware scanner) and it shows nothing...
Perhaps your drivers are corrupt. You might try uninstalling your USB host controllers and root hubs, reboot, and let windows reinstall the drivers...
You might also try using a "restore" point to a time before this all began.

Did you reinstall all of the MOBO drivers from the Soyo CD?

Well i give up, will a PCI board with usb on it work?or does it run with the main board usb's. I seen a PCI board with 5 usb 2.0 ports on it? thanks alot

did you download and install sp1
as it is required to have the drivers for usb

I had a fresh install with SP1,and did the windows update also and no go
