MSN Toolbar - Who uses it

I for one do not see a need for it. Google toolbar is just fine for me.

LOL! That is the Google toolbar - reskinned. MS invested a bunch o' cash in Google. Now you see the first returns on that investment.

Ummm MS didn't pay Google anything ... Got link?

They're paying for research into their own search algorithms to compete directly with Google

They certainly don't need puny google to help them with a search bar.

Wonder when the first security vulnerability will be available

No thanks, I'll stick to USEFUL browsers that don't need 15 different applications to make it as useful as one good one

I got link - right to your post. Don't you think it's possible, seeing that MS and Google have a business relationship, that MS might ask Google for their toolbar rather than invest in research?

I just installed the MS toolbar and all prompts were exactly the same as Google's installation. Apparently, I'm not the only one who feels this way:

You can have Mozilla, Opera and Firebird - not to mention the IE "reskins". I actually like IE6.

Actually, MS seems to have declared war on Google. That is, they've set their sites on destroying Google's market dominance.

I can hardly imagine with a situation like that that Microsoft would be willing to actually give Google money.

Well, in a sense, everyone is a competitor to MS. Darn they are hungry.

One department of Microsoft is collaborating with Google and another is declaring war. Oxymorons.
