@msn using Outlook Express

Hi! I'm trying to set up my @msn email address using Outlook Express.. is it possible? I tried using the server settings like was @hotmail - but that didn't work. Any solution? Thanks!

I haven't gotten it to work either. I just use MSN Explorer.

Go through like you usually would set up email. When it comes to the screen that asks about the mail server change it to html

http://oe.msn.msnmail.hotmail.com/cgi-bin/hmdata

Fill in the rest and that should be it.

seems stupid that the stripped down OE would have a better feature then Outlook. I wish I could use outlook (2000) to read my hotmail emails, it'd be one step closer to not needing IE for anything. I dont have the money to get one of the newer offices with an outlook that supports hotmail. You know you used to could register a @msn.com email address instead of @hotmail a few years ago (I still have one). I'm guessing now they only offer that with their internet service.
