i had purchased a microadvantage superdrive recently and it was working fine for me with memorex dvd+rw. I recently updated the firmware from 047 to 048 and i am having troubles burning and erasing the disc after that. It takes a long time for the dvd burner to recognise the dvd after burning and eventually it says its blank even though i had burned data with it. I also tried a new memorex dvd+rw and the supplied RiData dvdrw provided with the burner but all seem to have the same problem. When i tried to use this to another computer which has a dvd-rom it says that the disc is not formatted properly or is in a format not compatible with windows. Evreything was fine before i upgraded to the latest firmware. Does anyone have this kind of a problem too. Please help if anyone knows of a solution as now already two months have passed since i got this drive and now i cant even return it to the store and i am stuck with it.
