Limit CPU power on certain programs?

Is there a program which will allow me to restrict the CPU usage of certain programs to a certain percentage? An old game I have has a scroll rate based on CPU speed. I need to slow the computer down to be able to scroll at a reasonable rate.

Please do not suggest anything that costs money.

That moslo program doesn't work. When I go to dos prompt and use the command
"moslo /10 C:\games\imperialism\imperialism.exe"
it doesn't do anything. It just tells me how this is the trial version of moslo and go to whatever site to get the real version.

Does anybody else have a link to a program? The only other program I could find on google was one with a broken link.

BTW, I dont remember which OS you are running, is it DOS, a dos window ON 95/98?

I thought that Moslow would do,I just found ouT that it is no longer freeware, it now gives you an evaluation time limit.

kazaa will definatly have it cuz i just got it and it works if i could i would put it on my site 4 u but my ftp service isnt on this comp its on my server

Hey I found a work-around. The distributed computing program called "Genome at Home" allows the user to set the maximum amount of CPU power the program can use. All I have to do is set G@H to use 95% CPU power then set the priority to high. The game is only left with 5% to work with and the scrolling is fixed .
