you might run Adaware as well...Spybot and Adaware compliment each other (what one may miss, the other will catch)...
BTW-what page does it set it to?

Sounds like your browser has been hijacked. Try adaware. It will sometimes catch what spybot misses,

AdAware

If that doesn't work post back and someone will tell something better to try.

What OS are you using? You can set your homepage permanently by using your group policy editor. Lemme know if you're unfamiliar and I'll take a screenshot for ya.

ad aware did not give you a virus since it was deleting regestry files (bad ones) your anti virus thought it could have been good ones because a virus could do that and really screw your machine up

Hi Mark,

I agree with the AdAware 6 option. Run it and delete anything that looks questionable. If you see that there are some in the registry and you don't want to delete them, don't. Next thing is to open up Internet Explorer and go under TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS, first line listed when that window comes up is ADDRESS, you will notice that the homepage that you are used to is not listed, in it's place is this other one that you are having trouble with. Remove that one and put your good ole' home address that you want your pc to boot to and save and apply. If it boots back to this other undesirable webpage for your homepage then you are going to have to delete the cookies that AdAware 6 finds in your registery, that is your problem. It looks to the registery when it boots and therefore changes the home address everytime you reboot. Have fun. Hope this helps, John.
