Kids Help with a home Network

I live in a house where we're we have 5 computers hooked up to use the internet. My computer is running win2k pro, and I have 2 LAN cards on my machine. I have an onboard and one in a PCI slot. I've had problems where I would just randomly lose my connection, but sometimes it comes back if i switch cards, or i'd have to change the configuration and change the connection type from auto to 100 Full and sometimes that would work. I'm just at a blank of what the problem could be. Any ideas? Could it be a conflict with the 2 LAN cards? Should I try to switch the cables on the router? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

-Matt

Let me ask the first obvious question.....

Why do you have two lan cards?

You might want to disable the onboard LAN card and see if it solves the problem.
