Help this one killing me.. First my box about my Box

Ic7 max3, Bios 13
P4 3Gz HT on
2, 512 match set Corsair XMS 3700, 1 GB total
2, 36.7 GB WD raptors ran at raid 0 10,000rpms off of the Ich5r
1, 40GB WD Caviar SE hard drives 7200 rpm
SB Audigy 2ZS
Nvidia GeForce FX 5600, 250 memory "gainward"
Aspire ATX-AS500W 12V power supply
Aspire X-ALIEN case with 5 fans
Lite on 16x DVD
Lite on 52X32X52 CD-RW
Samsung FD
Dual 12' cold cathode UV lights
Zalman 7000-Cu
everything running with the latest drivers I could find

So with that said, I got a low Voltage reading in Bios, Abit EQ and Si Sandra

Voltage Sensor(s)
CPU Voltage : 1.46V
Aux Voltage : 2.58V
+3.3V Voltage : 3.20V
+5V Voltage : 4.97V
+12V Voltage : 11.80V
-12V Voltage : -8.33V
-5V Voltage : -2.94V
Standby Voltage : 4.95V
Battery Voltage : 3.25V

There pretty much the same reading in Bios and the programs with everything hooked up or with just 1 stick of ram and Video card in. I have checked the power supply at the main plug and 4 pin CPU plug and all voltage is correct on meter. In fact it all a little above. My +3.3v read 3.33 at plug and only 3.20 in Bios all other plugs for drive and so on check out too. Now I notice when I run any kind of stress test or burn in the 3.3 drops down to 3.14. I'm also concerned about my 5 & 12 neg Voltage. My Box another wise has not crashed or blue screened once even when running Si Sandra burn in and prime 5 stress test for 5 hours. except one time when I over clocking it too 250 Bus.. it locked up. However it take about 14 to 16 seconds from hitting the switch to fully booted up. I don't know if this time is good. My P3 took about the same time it seamed I was expecting better with the P4 and the raptors. I have no other power supply to change out with.. So any input would be really helpful. Could it be the mother board.. i sure would hate to have to RMA.. That be a pain in the ass.
thank you...

This is not the technical support area. Such a post belongs there, not in the deals and coupons area.

But how about a little help and less bitching about your area.. I can talk to my wife if I want to hear bitching about areas. damn she always complaining about her area. Kind of like you guys.

Here's a tip Usblues8: you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar...the good people here at TechIMO do not OWE you answers. You'll have better luck at getting some help if you show a little respect. Your post was NOT in the tech support forum, but it was moved for you by a mod (GZ3) so you could get the help you need.
As far as your issue:
Boot time between 15 and 16 seconds is AWESOME. Microsoft was shooting for a 30 second boot with XP, so you're well above par. Your voltages should be within +/- 5% of the rating per rail. Looks like you're below that on your negative side, although if your system is running stable I don't see any problem with it.
Looks like you've got quite a nice box...IMO there's nothing to be concerned about
BTW-Welcome to TechIMO

Welcome to TechIMO, Usblues8.

I don't think Starfury meant to "bitch" about your thread being in the wrong area. It's just that if it were in the right place you'd get a lot more responses and your problem would be solved a lot faster.

15 to 16 seconds boot time is very good, IMO. But if you wanna shave off as much as you can, check out TweakXP for some tips. As for your voltage sensor readings, I don't know, but like Gettinbye said if it's stable you have nothing to worry about.

if it ain't broke don't fix it .

bio readings aren't anywhere as good as a meter so if it smooth running leave it be .

One thing I must say, this forum needs some "rules" for the way we address new members....I dont see where people "get off" with the over authoritative rude way they tell peeps they are in the wrong forum, lol.....why not just say it politely? Why even say it at all really..is it really HURTING anything? We all know a mod will be along to move it...why not just report it to the mod and let them do the "modding". I guess I dont really understand power trips and that sort of thing.

I think most of us would appreciate a little grace if we were the "new kid" somewhere....I wonder why we dont give that same respect to new members here?

Perhaps the whole "hey idiot, wrong forum" should be left to the mods...they seem to handle it more gracefully than the over-eager members.

JP

PS...doesnt the RAID bios add a little time to the boot time? Perhaps the old systems you are comparing the new one with didnt have raid?

Talk

Thanks guys.. And So So sorry about being a wise ass. I was just Kidding and sometimes can't help myself... I'm a bad bad boy... But thanks for the info..... I don't know if this means any thing but I checked the voltage on the aux fan pins on the motherboard with my Multitester meter and they match the ones from the meter reading I took on the main power plug coming from my power supply. So I guess it just might me sensor problems or bios thing ? You think ? Thanks all.
