RADEON SE? XT? EZ? PRO? HELP!

what the difference? can there be different combinations of the choices? what does "low-profile" mean? does it mean its real quiet? which one is the best/worst? im looking for a 9600 myself. help me not get ripped off! thanks.

9600XT
9600pro
9600/9600ez about tied
9600SE

low profile means the card hieght is lower than the normal card is all . it is for small form faction cases like shuttle type cases .

I believe EZ is from powercolor's line of video cards. It has nothing to do with card performance. It is only used to show how much extra stuff you get with the card, like games and cables. It is used for all the cards (ex 9600proEZ 9600EZ 9800EZ etc.).

i would reccomend getting the pro or XT model. the regular is kinda slow and the SE is not worth buying.

i see PRO EZ versions and stuff. is that false advertising or is it actually a card? i also see PRO ULTRA and stuff. wth?

Ooops. Actually it has a lot to do with the actual card. The EZ series use TSOP RAM instead of BGA. That stuff is super slow. It is cheaper, but not as good. Just get a regular 9600 PRO.
