C&C zero hour

Wow my friend just let me borrow his zero hour expansion pack for C&C Generals and it is such a good game! In the starting video tho its showing almost a game in progress kinda and it shows ships and air craft carriers. When im in a skirmish tho i cant seem to be able to build or even come across such things. Where do i find them??

the ships arn't available in skirmish mode, only available in the regular mission's mode. Trust me I also got that game and have build everything and there is no ships.

o that kinda sux when i saw the video i thought that would be really cool. I havent played the missions yet but will do that as soon as skirmish gets a little old although that may be awhile

Yeah, it's a shame. Originally Zero Hours was to have a full navy, but that got canned because the engine has trouble rendering alot of water. So they only appear in certain (read 1) campaign missions.

Other than that, Zero Hours is a GREAT game!

well i want to try and play another friend of mine over LAN how do i do that? i have been trying to figure it out myself but i havent been able to get it to work.

I like C&C generals a lot.

I don't have it but played it couple times. I love it.

IGN posted Zero Hour as th xpansion of the year award... It's a good game, but I think the Frozen Throne offered more than Zero Hour did.

Unfortunately, you need 2 seprste CD keys for Zero Hour to work, even over a LAN (Damn you EA! ). If you don't mind 'obtianing' another CD key, you can do it easily. Just have a TCP/IP network up, have one computer (the faster one) host and the other join. You know you have TCP/IP up if both computers can connect to the internet no problem through the network.
