Systems BIOS
so is there anything you can do with a bios that has the wrong update or is it pretty much done?

its a gigabyte GA-6BXD(dual PII/PII) and no it does not boot. I'm getting nothing

Did you get any beeping from your pc speaker? If not pull your mems out and try. Any lights on the case come on? If not look at power supply.

You might try reseting the BIOS, some of them do contain a backup on chip somewhere.

yes and if clearing it dosent work you could buy a new chip and pop it in...most are removable now a days

Try to contact mobo manufacturer, see if you can get replacement BIOS.
Can also get replacement BIOSs from http://www.badflash.com/

Make sure everything is seated properly...

Try giving it an F8 or insert key upon booting for giggles after a bios reset via jumper---

When/if it boots to the bios go gently and choose the default settings...

report back if you can
