No EAX3 in Call of Duty

I have an nforce2 motherboard and logitech Z680s. When i select EAX3 in the sound options of call of duty, and click apply, it resets it back to miles fast 2d, it won't let me use EAX3. I can use EAX and EAX2 just fine, but EAX3 it won't let me use. Now, whats odd is that EAX3 worked in the demo, and I had great 5.1 surround, but in the full version it doesn't work, and I have to use EAX2 wich is 4.1 surround. I have the latest motherboard drivers. I am using the nforce nstorm sound so I have the latest sound drivers as well. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get EAX3 to work and get my wonderful 5.1 surround back?

Do you use head phones? If so that is your problem EAX3 won't work with headphones. Or you need the speaker set up that it requires.. I play COD too and had the same problems.

I have the logitech z680s. I found out that the nvidia sounstorm only supports up to EAX2.
