Well First off Let me say I dont have a lcd in my computer, Its my cell phone but wouldnt the idea or mod be about the same?
Is there a way to inverse the lcd light into dark, dark into light?
I have seen this inversion film but is there another way?

I imagine so, however, it'll likely be accomplished by the software that is driving the LCD panel that you're using.

Additionally, it might be pretty unlikely that you'll be able to put the LCD from your cell into your computer. If it is possible, its likely rather difficult.

Ok I salvaged the LCD from my old Ericsson Phone. It has 5 connection surfaces. Where can I get information on what to do next? I 'm a newbie to this sort of stuff. Can I just hook it up to a serial port directly or do I need some sort of circuit controller? Does anyone have any useful links?

Edit: Nevermind. It seems the controller chip is on the phone circuit board. This might be worthless...
