Maximum file size

Under W2k, what is the maximum size a file can be on a FAT32 partition, and an NTFS partition. I was doing a capture of a family vhs tape when the program errored out. The capture was to my FAT32 drive, not my NTFS one.

This is from MS:

NTFS

File size limited only by size of volume. Volumes much larger than 2 terabytes (TB) are possible

Seems like I read that theoretically the file size is around 6 terrabytes.
