The name of my domain on my local LAN is "lincoln-grad.org"
The name of our companies website is "lincoln-grad.org" and is located on a server other than the local LAN.... on a server on the web.
When I type the name of the website in the browser it tries to look at the local server for the site but it can't find it there and gives and error page. What do I have to do to make it see the REAL website?

If I delete the forward zone in DNS for the domain it works fine.
But then I don't have a forwarding zone in DNS.
This then effects the way that I can control things in GPOs.
Without client computers seeing my DC and the DNS it doesn't apply my GPOs that I set up.
