Kids Micro ATX board in ATX case?

I bought a Jetway NForce2 motherboard the other week. However, looking at the mountings in the ATX case I was planning to use, it doesn't seem to have the right holes for the right hand side. (assuming you're looking at it with the Serial/usb etc at the top)
Do I have to buy a specialist mATX case, or can I just pick up a more modern ATX one? I could get a mATX case quite cheaply, but I don't like the look of the design, and I am dubious about the cooling potential. This thing is going to get overclocked
I can't afford to spend much more than £20 on a case though. (hence the problem)

Most modern ATX cases have the holes in the right place to accept MATX boards. if yours wont, then either the board is odd, or the case is.

I had cases when I had to use the plastic standoffs to support the edge of the mobo since they don't reach the next set of holes. I clipped the bottom of the standoffs so they sit flat on the plate. I assume that's what your problem is.

I upgraded the kids case last summer from a mATX to ATX. The mobo is a mATX Biostar. It matched the holes perfectly. It should state in the documentation for the case or on the vendors website if it supports both form factors.

Doesn't offer any such documentation on the sites for cases in my price range. Looking at one of the photos I found that it had the last row of holes.
...
It should have arrived today, but roads have been closed because of the snow etc.
