IE 6 uses alot of patches. Did you download SP1 over the internet? It may have corrupted some of the program or data. I'd tinker with it a little, but if the data in your browser is bad I don't think there's another way around it: clean re-install Windows XP/system drivers and configure. If that has to happen..well, I've had worse happen me. Also remember if you need to do the above, slow the FSB down to 100/100Mhz. I've had problems with data corruption with a speedy install of Win XP. I'd also download SP1 in bits and pieces and not the whole thing.
You can uninstall the individual fixes, which means you can install them piece-meal and see which one works before doing the others. Good Luck wallie_x
