OK, I need business cards bad! lol

What programs can I use?

I am talking free, lol. I have Word2000 on my comp. Can I make biz cards from there? All I need is SOMETHING with my name on it etc.

I also have some Dell comps with Corel wordperfect..but none of those are hooked to a printer and I dont want to hook a printer to them cuz they are for sale comps.....is there anyway I can design the card on wordperfect and then print it out on another comp?

Any decent freeware biz card software..especially with templates?

Thanks, JP

PS I have avery 8871 paper

Those templates could be cool....I am checking em out now, thanks. Amazing though, for Microsoft, no computer biz templates, lol.

The Microsoft templates are actually pretty good. A little awkward to edit but not bad as far as the paper you already have just be sure to pick a template that fits. if your paper is for eight cards per sheet or if it is for ten. I used their templates for the first cards I printed with no problems. It is even possible to change the clipart so you can take a design layout that you like and customize it.

BTW have you checked Avery's site? They used to have some basic templates for their products that worked from within windows.

Thanks you all....I finally got some together....I think I finally used an avery template....and then went thru the LABORIOUS process of modding it. I was a little dissappointed that EACH of the 10 had to be modded....lol. I was hoping that if I modded the 1 that the others would copy the changes also.

THEN, I had finished the first run this afternoon....hit "save" and it locked up and when I rebooted I noticed three additional temp files in the folder with the word file...I was like "uh oh"...all that work was lost. So I had to re-do it all tonight but in the end it came out better I guess.

Thanks All! JP
