reversing a cd player

if you rewired the motor in a cd player so it spun the opposite direction and made it so the lens assembly moved towards the center of the cd instead of towards the outside, would it play the cd backwards?

I'm sure you can reverse music with half a dozen of the media players out there. I think taking apart a cd player to find out that Queen "tried to smoke marijuana" might be a little more work than is necessary:-)

there dc motors why rewind them? just reverse the polarity of the motors.

more than likely the computer wouldn't be able to understand what it was reading.

Lots of DJ's use two cd players and a fader to mix music, and it has a jog wheel to back spin to mix and remix the music like a turntable DJ

i know you can reverse music on a computer, thats not the point.
