LOTR game sucks!

I'm beginning to get REALLY fed up with the Return of the King game because YOU CAN'T SKIP MOVIES!! These things are a few minutes long, and every time you die you have to watch them again and again. I have looked from tainers, cheats, hacks, and nothing can skip these darn things....

This makes the game almost not worth playing.

I know exactly what you mean.. That was SO anoying. The weird thing is, one time I played near the end of the game, it was letting me skip them!? Not sure wha that was all about, but I have beat the game now so I need not have to deal with that anymore lol.

from what i've seen you cant really expect much from most games based on movies or tv shows.

Well, the game is actually fun, yet VERY hard for me. That is why I die so much nad have to watch the movies so many times.

I FIGURED OUT HOW TO STOP THE MOVIES! I just renamed the avi files in the "movie" directory. The game can't find them, so it skips them. The problem is, is you rename the wrong ones, either the game won't start (logos.avi) or when you get to the end of a level, it just sits there because there is no movie to play.

Just be careful which ones you rename.

I enjoyed the black lable games version. They come out with each movie release. Have the first-beat in 1 day. Getting second soon (two towers). Dont think "they" made retun or the king yet did they. If its the EA version I'll pass. THanks anyhow. LOL.

Yep. Black Lable games is the only one that is the "official" Lord of the rings game. They have the owners of the series backing them reinforcing plot etc. keeping the facts streight. THey did good. It had more story and detail then the movie did. Like a cross between movie and the book. Nice-you should check the title/s out.
