My Computer Unstable?

Alright heres the deal: I have a 2500+ Barton with 1GB of PC3200 Corsair ram and an Epox 8RDA3+. I have been running at 3200+ speeds for the past few days and just a few minutes ago I turn on the computer and get some message like "overclock fail" or something of the sort. I changed my FSB from 200 down to 190 and it boots up fine.

The question is; is my computer unstable at that speed. Secondly, why would it run fine for a few days and now all of a sudden say overclock fail?

It might have overheated. I have had my comp run fine OC'ed in my room, but after its been moved it wouldnt because of air temp difference pushed it over the edge. Stupid question: did test it to full CPU capacity at that speed?

I have it running from about 3-10PM daily. I shut it off at night and when it is running during this time, it is at full load. The temps never get more than 40C though. Highest I have ever seen was 39 so I dont think it would be a heat issue.

Also, another note: When it gave me that message it said my CPU fan wasnt spinning.

I have reason to think its the ram, because whenever I touch the timings on it I have to reset CMOS.

The sensor might be bad, disable it int he bios and test your OC settings again.

There's also that stress tester for CPU loads. I don't have the link on me, but maybe some1 can post it for you. Run it after an overclock bump-up, and see if it's ok. If there isn't any errors, you comp should be fine for the long haul. It will be able to tell you if there is some miss-timings or something like that.
