what would be considered a high temp? I hear people talking about temps alot and i really have no idea. give C and F if you can, also are bios temps fairly accurate?

I would not run one at 60C, but you probably could.

sao95:

I have run my CPUs (AMD) from T-Birds - Bartons at 37C - 42C, depending on room temp and load. I just checked my XP3200+ Barton: 44C as the heat was on and intake fan was sucking in hot air .. now it's dropping: 43C or 109F ...

Anything below 50C is fine, IMO

F to C conversion: (F - 32) x 5/9 = C

Example: 109 - 32 = 77 x 5/9 = 42.77

C to F - Reverse values if I recall ...

BIOS CPU temps run a degree or 2 high in my experience.
