cpu temp program

Hey
Is there a program out there that will run your cpu at idle and at full load and give you the temps? Beucase i got a new cpu cooler and want to see if there was a difference in cooling temps. If you know of any of these programs please post a link where i can get them.
Thanks
Ricky

Maybe you can try sisoft sandra. Its free to try and it tests your cpu rating with others in its range.

hey GZ, they are asking for a program that will do the full load test itself and tell you the difference between that and an idle test

You could try the free version of Sandra http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html...86&langx=en&a=
it will at least allow you to see the differences in temp, some question its accuracy tho---take temp at idle---run burn in wizard and quickly recheck the temp in the mainboard info module...

King,

I belive its very close to accurate readings. I use sandra alot, for testing purposes, and also run a SuperFlower fan master which records the temps of the cpu and etc... The flower and sandra both have the exact readings +/- a degree. So I would reccomend sandra for your temps and other stuff too.

Motherboard Monitor does all that stuff. Only problem is that I dont know if it will work with your motherboard. Its worth a shot though.

Does someone have a guide for configuring mbm for compaq mobo?

//edit: Namely I want to monitor the +12V rail, as I'm worried if the compaq 200w psu can handle 4 ide devices

I use speed fan. It is fairly accurate. Although it doesnt give you the full load and idle temps you are looking for, but you can do as thekingofpain said. Sorry if it isnt much help .
