Can't load driver for burner?

Alright, so I've reinstalled Windows XP, however, it fails to load the driver required for my burner, an LG GCE-8160B. The device shows up in the Hardware Manager, but it won't load an appropriate driver.

If anyone has any ideas how to fix it, it would be appreciated. BTW, LG doesn't have a driver for this particular drive listed on thier website because it's apparently plug and play compatible.

None of the atapi devices have drivers.

What's the error there? It has a yellow exclamation mark in it or what?

windows should provide the driver for any cdrom. or in your case, you can manually select a cdrom driver from the list of drivers from xp. or let windows re-detect your cdrom.

It places a yellow exclamation mark beside the device in the hardware manager. Even when I manually select the driver, it fails.
