PS2 & Wireless Network

I currently have a Belkin wireless router and wireless Belkin (USB) adapter hooked up between my two pcs. My question is if I get the PS2 network adapter is there any way I can use the USB adapter for the PS2. If not has anybody had experience with the wireless PS2 adapters. I've read up on many of the third party adapters in which I have been concerned with the talk of these adapters not supporting newer games. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you

I'm sure anything you use like that on a PS2 would have to be proprietary. The EyeToy is a USB camera made by Logitech but you can't use it on a PC and you can't substitute a similar Logitech PC camera on the PS2.

Thank you for your feedback. Just a few more questions

Are their any adapters that transform a usb end into whatever the ps2 network adapter takes? I'd rather not have to buy another bridge. If not and I have to buy the other bridge do you know if it will be compatabile with a belkin router?

yea there is only one ethernet and one phone line jack on the back of the online extension. The two usb ports in the front can only be used reaally as a power source and a way to comunicate with the ps2 eg headset. You cannot hook a wireless usb adapter into one of those ports. Most likely the bridge will be compartible with your network. but i think belkin would have an external ethernet just for these type of situations. Otherwise i would go for the linksys. I am planning on doind the same thing you are and am planning on getting the linksys.

edit: i looked at belkins website and they said that they are coming out with a wireless ethernet adapter soon for wireless g

Thank you all again for your replies.
Frankie I think I will try the linksys bridge for now, if it doesn't work I guess I'll wait for belkins. My advice to you would be to definitely stay away from Belkin as I've really had nothing but headaches with it and have only heard good things about linksys.
I will let you all know how it turns out.
Thanks again
