Update your AV! Bagle, Beagle is out...

Heard a snippet about this on the news today, I've gotten two already. That's in my personal box, the one only a few people have, so it's probably not going to get any better. They both came as an attached file, one was a calculator and I'm not sure about the other... It also says this in both mine...

It's nasty, it sends itself to other people and then uses their address to send it to people in yours, is what I gather after talking to my padre, who got it fromsomeone in my wife's hotmail address book

Here's the fix... make sure to disable system restore and disconnect from the internet.

Our servers are yanking the attachment, but lots of folks here are getting tons of them in their inbox. This message fakes the From field. If you look at the header, you'll see who it's really from.

In Outlook, open the message (NOT THE ATTACHMENT!!!), and go to View=>Options and you can see the header. Look for the From field right before your address. That's the true culprit.

I got 15 of those in my school email account last night.
