Kids Makin a window in my case?!?!

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is like a kit that you could buy that gave you instructions and materials needed to make a window in your case. I have a SOYO case but it doesnt have any side windows. I wish it did since i have so many Lights, and fans that i would like to show off as well as my nice system. i wil get pics of my case after posting this.. or after defragging my computer. ANY feedback is welcome.

I would like some trouble shooting tips onmy VGA cooler as well. I bought a ThermalTake GF4 VGA coolmod for my PNY GeForce4 Ti4200 VGA. The fan doesnt fit, and my LCS wont let me return it since i used the thermal grease already =/ I was thinking of marking where the holes are in the card to the back of the fan/heatsink. They are pretty far from the original spot and i would liek to have this coolmod fan/heatsink on my VGA =(

Thanks for looking.

This window was done by a simple jigsaw. I marked in pencil where the wanted cutted. Then put tape all around, and retraced the lines. Cut one corner with a drill, then saw away! If you dont have a jigsaw, a powerful dremel might also work.

Done this whole mod with just a dremel and dremel accessories.

Your case screams for a big rounded square of a window kit.

Well, you can get a metal snip deal from Radio shack for about $10 that just nibbles little chunks out at a time. Stong hands, a drill to start it with, and a lot of patience, and you can get it done ( you'll just need to put a moulding around the window ).

Unknown and Redfury, how did you attach your windows to the side panel?

Goop. Liquid adheasive. Just made the plexi about 2 inches larger than the opening and glued it to the backside of the panel and let it sit overnight with some pressure on it to hold it in place ( or just use some masking tape ).
