Kazaa failure to load

I just recently ran some Spyware & Adaware programs that cleaned my system. They found countless times that my computer was vulnerable and the like, plus protected me from future attacks and intrusions.

Problem is, now Kazaa doesn't want to run now, since it detects I have the block on. I've been using Kazaa for over 2 years without a hitch.

Are there any solutions to this?

May wanna try Kazaa Lite. No spyware, or ads, and is a smaller file. I prefer it over Kazaa.

I've done the same thing before. With the new version of Kazaa you MUST allow the adware to remain or it won't work, so you're just going to have to reinstall Kazaa. If you install it to the same path as it was before it should resume as if nothing happened.

Maybe you could try iTunes, MusicMatch, Napster or one of the other legal music download services...

Use KaZaA Lite (I prefer K++). It doesent have any spyware

I run an old version that I have saved on an old back up disk.
spybot cleans it all up, no savenow, no ads in bottom left corner of screen, no pop ups, and kazaa runs fine... that is as long as I don't get any viruses which is extremely possible more and more.
Kazaa goes on a computer I don't mind having to format in case of virus attack.

Yeap. Also use KazaaLite. Find this better also. I have heard that Mesh is good too but I havent tried it myself.

Oh, and another P2P I use, Shareaza is also very good. No spyware, and if you cant find something on Kazaa, you can always go there. Plus I dunno if the RIAA is out on this program yet.

I've tried several versions. Kazaa Lite is my favorite as well.
