Active Directory + no CD-rom access

So I've configured and installed Windows Server 2003 as an Active Directory server, just to play around with and learn, and have subsequently attached one computer to the domain. However, when logging on to this computer, using any account, I don't have access to the CD-Rom drive to install programs.

How the hell do I fix this problem?

What is the error? Can you access the CD drive when logged in as Administrator?
Have you altered ANY permissions? Does the drive show up in My Computer?

No error. Can't access when logged in as Administrator. I haven't altered any permissions and the drive fails to show up in My Computer.

Check to see if CD drive is detected ok in the BIOS.
