The Lap top strikes back

So, How can I re-use a lap top hard drive in a small form factor desk top? Can I re-use the SODIMMS? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Then I can actually by all of my stuff and get on with this mod.

The hard drive is easy. Just get an adapter from a computer store. Go to anyplace small with cables and connectors in stock, and you are sure to find one. Looks like two ports with a power wire and LED coming from it.
The memory- Need to get regular dimms for that my friend. Good luck! I hope to see your case when it's done!
