Asus P4P 800 VM?

Does anyone have any opinions on this? I found a good deal on it. I don't really need a high speed gaming machine or anything. I want to run the Intel Extreme graphics on it for a while. I was wondering if I should wait untill I have the cash and get a P4P 800 delux and a video nice video card or whatnot? I need to run photoshop and flash MX.

And is there any general opinions on this board?

It is not a bad board but perhaps the asus P4R800-is a better deal, its about $20 less has 800fsb, 8x agp, 3x PCI, dual channel DDR400, TV out, audio, 10/100 lan and instead of intel extreme graphics it has a Radeon 9200gpu. Seems a better deal unless you found the P4P800 for very cheap or need serial ata.

The current integrated graphics solutions on the market can be good for internet browsing and nothing else. And the DX8 Radeon 9200 is already outperformed by it's DX9 rival (FX 5200).

Well if you are wanting a nice machine get the P4P800 Deluxe and buy a DirectX 9 compatible video card. I have seen R9000's and R9100 pros that suck ass when it comes to gaming (I should know I have one). My friend just upgraded to a 9600XT and the thing is light years ahead of mine. But if you are not to concerned with gaming then yes the 9200 will perform fine, or at least a hell of a lot better than the any integrated Graphics.

I'd go with the the asus P4R800 it seems like a good deal at $90 and if your not happy with the graphics of the board you can always just upgrade with the 8x agp port.

the p4r800 has better graphics, i think, than the p4p800vm.

i also think its the best on the integrated graphics side.
