can i set my PS2 to not have a parental code at all?

just like the title says. i want to know if there is a way to set my PS2 up so i dont have to enter a Passcode every time i want to watch something.

All you have to do is set the security level to max. I don't remember the exact procedure, but it's somewhere in the settings. I set mine to security lv. 9 and now it never asks me.

The alternative is putting the password to 0000. Then you just press X and it will start.
