Help w/ a7n8x Deluxe and Raidmax Black Scorpio Case

Hi, I'm somewhat new to PC building, and finally have most of my essential parts of my PC (missing floppy). Right now I'm intalling my mobo into the Raidmax black case, but am confused on where everything goes.

- There are 2 audio cables comming from the front, and I don't know where they'd do on the mobo. Would they go into my sound card instead?

- I have 5 fans in the case that need connecting, and I also have 2 CD-Roms and 2 Hard Drives that need power. The power supply has only 4 connectors of that size. How would I connect all 5 fans AND my HDs and CDs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your fans normaly use the fan header on the motherboard... if not you will either have to splice the wires or just get some splitter from radio shack or somthing.

I have that exact same case and I also have no idea how you would plug in the 2 audio cords. It shouldn't really matter though, it's only the mic and headset plugs, which you probably plug into your speakers.

If you look at the fan connections, you can plug the fans together first, then just hook it up to a single power plug from the PSU

Don't forget the spacers ^^ don't be a fool like me, almost wrecking my own comp ...

The audio leads on your case, are to be plugged directly onto your motherboard for the purpose of having headphone + microphone jacks on the front of the case. They are not needed when you have a PCI slot audio card.

Secondly, I believe the spacers someone16 is referring to are the brass stand offs that you screw into the case to elevate the motherboard by not creating a short when electrcity is running.

Thirdly, you do not have enough Ampres and maximum wattage from your power supply, thus, you do not have enough of the 4 pin molex connectors for all 5 fans, 2 CD-ROMS, and 2 hard drives.

If you have additional questions, please ask, as TIMO, is one of the best places you can find
