Cold Weather

I'm headin' back to college Monday, and I plan to hit the ski slopes for a bit. I will have all of my stuff in my car, including my PC and monitor.

So, my question is: Could 0-10 degree weather have a negative effect on my PC or Viewsonic Flat Panel?

I don't think there will be much effect on the system, as long as you let it warm up and if any condensation occurs, let it dry.
Let it sit for an hour or two before plugging it in just to make sure.

Cool, thanks.

What about the Flat Panel? Could that freeze up?

I'm not so certain about the flat panel, but I would keep it wrapped up in a towel or something.
Most temperature ratings are at the lowest 32 degrees for lcds, and most comptuer equipment.
But, with a towel(coat also, maybe?) wrapped around them in yoru trunk they probably should be ok.

And maybe even a hand warmer inside the towel or coat, since I doubt LCDs make too much heat to be kept in by a blanket when they aren't plugged in.
