System Folder question

In Windows 98 SE, when I open the "My Computer", it shows icons for the floppy drive, c: drive, cd, DUN, Printers, Scheduled Tasks, Control Panel, plus an extra folder icon which doesn't have any name/title. I can right click on it and select the "delete" option but nothing happens - it remains where it is. If I try and open it nothing happens.

Is there a registry entry or something I can edit/delete to get rid of it ??

You Cannot Delete a File or a Folder
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;320081

======================================

Remove Empty Folders (RmEmpty)

===================================

Two other ways to try .

Try moving the folder to C: & from Explorer delete the file .

Try booting to Safe Mode & removing .
