Case Idea's

Im looking for some case ideas. I want to build something that is just awsome. I dont want to mod a case I want to build it from scratch. Or mod someting else to make into a case. Any idea's? I was thinking a borg cube but the guy who made the Y2K bug case has a thing on his site saying thats his next program so it would be that original.

So kewl and original. I have plenty of tools and suplies but little money.

I've seen all kinds of cases/mods all over the net

cardboard box, teddy bears, millinium falcon, fishtank(really!!and worked to) picture frame in the wall, all kinds of themes

wood cases, PVC tube case, clay case, guano case (that stunk, ha ha)

I saw a few pictures of a life size laura Croft with computer parts all in her and she actually worked!

you ask a hard question?

A retro all in one system using an old Space Invaders arcade machine?? or a table or desk with the PC modded into the desk unit itself??.... erm, I think they've been done

..Come to think of it, so many systems and mods have been done on the forums recently that it's difficult to come up with an original. I think you've made yourself a difficult task with this one Pyro!! Good luck

Never seen a computer in a printer......

A one off original huh....and building one from scratch....

Well, one idea that I was going to do at one point, that I've never heard, or seen done, is a bullet proof computer. My step dad happens to have a 4X8 sheet of bullet proof ( small arms ) material. Not sure if it is kevlar though.... I thought about building a computer based around that. Could call it the Thug'puter...

How about a computer volcano? You could base it around the Thermaltake Volcano series of heatsinks and fans, and paper mache' costs nothin' ! Nice diarama, you could have a little villiage off to the side...perhaps make some glowing lava heading towards it ( plexi back lit by a red neon ).

I've tossed it up...let's see if it sticks!

If you have all the tools and supplies, little money doesnt matter, all you need is a design team and you have that here---should be pretty easy after you come up with an original thought, and that will be the toughest part...

You could build 2 towers like the Trade Center as a tribute!

How about a 'Computer in a tree' ?
