well you also need the drivers for the motherboard..like the IDE drivers etc....if its a "brand" name pc like HP or Dell you can just go to their website and find drivers..else you need to find out what motherboard it is and get drivers for it.....otherwise itll run slowish.

I also always change the "file system" to "network server"...makes it a lil faster.....right click "my computer""properties"/performance then click "file system at the bottom....then you see "typical role of this computer"..thats where you want it to be "network server"
