Whats your favorite BF1942 mod?

Whats your favorite BF1942 mod and why? Me I like Desert combat the most cause of the realism and the added weapons. But I'd have to say that out of the wacky mods, I like Gi-joe. Transformers mod should be cool. But last I heard it'll be a while till its done.

So far, my favorite mod has been Eve of Destruction. I hope they release another patch for it so it can play on 1.5. I am EoD deprived. Maybe Veitnam will be a substitute.

Vietnam looks REAL good. Was gonna dw eve of destruction yesterday. Think I will tonight. Have to see if I like.

Forgotten Hope....excellent mod.

And the upcoming mod Battlefield 1918 is looking really promising.

All depends on who you are playing with, and where you are playing. I love Desert Combat, but I love flying Helicopters the most ( or being a gunner in one ). I leave all the jets alone except the Warthog as I cannot fly them effectively. Support roles in both Classic BF and Desert Combat are fun. I love laying mine fields, setting booby traps, and calling in fire. Sniping from long distances is always fun, because it frustrates the heck out of people when you snipe them and they can't find you after dying 3 times, and they respawn at the same location JUST to find you and kill you

I of course, do not like to base camp as I think it is cheap, unless of course, all points are taken and the base is the only place to find the enemy.

I love Desert combat. I love how fast you can start of wit the jets.

I also love helicopters because I just found out how to fly them

I last about 10 seconds in a copter. More a plane person myself. Bombing acuratly does take some practice though. Got it down pretty good now after playing lots of SP games and just flying. LOL.

Forgotten Hope-I havent seen that one. Is it at gamespy? Battlefield 1918 I heard about- is'nt it still way off from done though? EOD is now at 20% done beta. Plus there is a patch to .1 I think. 30% is on its way out which I might just wait for.

Yeah I am really anticipating the new EoD patch.

I'm the same with DC. I hate the helos and the people who are good with them. They can really mess the people up on the ground. I like to stick to the winged birds.

BF 1918 should have a release in first quarter 2004....but yes it is far from completion.
