Which is the best of these two video cards: GE Force or Radeon

Fry's has these two cards on sale:

$ 69.99
A "PowerColor Radeon 9200SE DDR 8X AGP Video card"
*9200SE 3D Engine
*VGA, DVI Converter & TV In-Out

Or....

$ 89.99
"Asylum 128 MB DDR GeForce FX 5200 8X AGP Video Card"
*250 Mz core clock with Dual 350 Mz RamDec.
*VGA & S-video Connectors
*Open GL ICD & Direct X Supported

Which is the best bang for the buck for RPG gaming for today and near future games?

Thanks in advance...

the 5200 because the 9200 is an se but between the 5200 and 9200 standard its a toss-up

ps newegg has cheaper prices than that w/ free shipping you can get a 9200 standard or a 5200 for around 65 bucks but make sure to get 128 bit and 128 mb

I dunno. The 9200 is Suckified (what SE stands for) but the 5200 isn't a very good card either.

So the 9200 "SE" is a clipped version of the 9200?

What is the best card for less than $ 100.00?

Maybe Tom can shed some light on the subject.

For less than 100, you can find ti4200 or Radeon 9600 regular/Pro. I would go with the latter.

9600's should probably go for a bit over $100. If you want to get a budget card, get the 9600SE.

If you don't mind getting the card from fellow members, a ti4200 would be very nice.
