Best P4 non-water cooler?

I would like to O/C my P4 in the future and I am wondering what the best non-water cooled cooler is? I do not care about the noise the thing can produce, I only care about the cooling capacity. I believe my friend got a Volcano 11 for his socket A and he said that it is loud but does an excellent job. I have not seen a Volcano 11 version for my P4 (I have dial-up so searching the net sucks). But something comparable to its abilities would be preferred. It would help if you list your system and your average temps w/ your suggestions. Also is a sticker or liquid preferred between the heatsink and the CPU?

Thanks
Greg

Yes use "heatsink paste" of some sort (Arctic silver?) and possibly a Swiftech MCX478-V (http://www.swiftnets.com/) heatsink with a dualblade Delta screamer or a Vantech 92x38 for 56dbA and 119cfm of cooling power...

Edit--->478 (P4) not 462 (AMD)

Look at the SPARK series Thermaltake for a P4 (Volcano is for AMD)

I just got CoolMaster's Jet-4 for my P4 2.4. AWESOME! Looks great too, if you have a side window on your case. Keeps my processor in the low 20s. I had a tough time finding a vendor who had it in stock. Newegg was out of them when I ordered my X-Alien case last week. Got VERY lucky and found one at a CompUSA store several miles from my house. My local CompUSA had been out for weeks. Got it for only $39.99, which was cheaper than Newegg.

The unit is huge, and has a finned copper heatsink. The fan resembles the intake on a jet engine. I thought I might have a problem mounting it, but the clips were easy to use and they firmly attached to the mounting clips. It comes with its own speed control which you can mount in the back using a slot, or like I did, mounting it in your 3.5 slot up front. It has a blinking white LED light in the front, and a constant red LED in the back. It's the centerpiece on my new mod case.

if you don't care about noise then do the following:

get yourself a swiftech HS and stick a 80mm delta fan (has over 66CFM!) on it...you won't find any other air based cooler that does a better job, period!

What about that same HS and a Vantec 92mm case fan? They flow 119 CFM but they are a case fan. Would a 92mm case fan work with that swifttech HS?

Guess you didnt look at my Swiftech link too closely---the Vantec fan is part# TD9238A and available directly from them---here are some simple specs from a 3rd party http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/van92tor.html

I looked at your link but when I went to TIGERDIRECT I could not find that part number. I found one with an H instead of the A at the end. That fan was listed as a case fan flowing 119 CFM so I thought that it might work.

I looked around more on your 2nd link and saw that they have both products. I guess I have become to reliant on TIGER for my stuff.
