WMV to Mpeg?

wondering if there is a free program out there that will let me convert? Searched on google and came up with more search engines and porno

okay here is how we got it working, for future reference for anyone else.

we had a file.wmv that we wanted to convert to mpeg.

guy at work figured out that if he changed the extension to .asf and loadup it into TMPGEnc it would convert to .mpeg and it did work!
