USB keychain harddrive crashed....

i have an Easydisk® USB drive and when i was using it at school, the computer crashed and i had to reset it an this happened while i was writing data to the USB drive. When i tried to use it again the drive icon popped up in the My Computer, but when i tried to open it the error message says to insert the disk and then click retry. i don't know is this an internal eror or the firmware was corrupted, but i'm looking for a way to fix it...

Do you have the option to format it? Right-click it in My Computer, and choose "format...".

(You will lose all your data if you try this, but you might not have another choice!)

To Format your EasyDisk, you need to connect it to your computer and then run "Mformat.exe" from the driver CD that came with it.

How do I format my EasyDisk?
Insert the driver CD which comes with your EasyDisk, also plug in the EasyDisk. Explore the driver CD, go to "Utility" folder, double click the "UDReset" file, type "Y", unplug EasyDisk, then plug it back in. Go to the "Utility" folder again, double click "Mformat", check "Quick Format" and your EasyDisk will be formatted.
