Computer hanging

I just got a new case for christmas and i had everything transfered from my old case (stock) to my new one that i got for christmas, and here recently it started to have a black screen when it boots up, it shows the bios, then it shows the xp pro boot up screen, then it goes to a black screen and just sits there. It's been doing this for about 2 weeks, and also when the bios loads it says "a hardware monitor found an error. enter power setup menu for details." then it says press F1 to continue/F2 to enter SETUP. I dont know what to do. I thought i'd need a new hdd. But i'll see. Thanks

Sounds like it could be a bad power supply. Find the hardware monitor in the bios setup and look for any numbers in red. If the power supply is putting out too little or too much juice, it should show in there

Could be the grounding, make sure you have the grounding strips installed right.

Them are the little gold thingy's you got with the board.
