No Dial up Connection

Hi We have tried repeatedly to dial out on our internet account but failed. When we dial out we receive the message this number is not recognised ,please try again later. As directed in help, went to Dial up Networking propeties,moved the telephone no. and deselected the Area region box. Tried to redial then we recieved a message in saying:

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.Possible causes include network problems,server problems or long periods of inactivity?"

What do I need to do to dial out ?

You may want to contact your ISP and see if they can help you troubleshoot your prob.

your ISP should have at least a simple list of instructions on how to connect to them via dial up connection.

Go to My Computer and select Dial Up Networking. You should have a connection listed there for your ISP. Check the properties of that connection and report back. Also, like others have said, it's probably best to check with your ISP so they can walk you through it.
