I don't think that it. The computer barely has much data. I use to have a beeping sound and when that was fix and I was able to boot up this was the message i got.
i mean your BIOS data. the CMOS is a chip on the mobo that holds all the information that your mobo needs to boot. if the battery power is low, the data is erased.
well, it's not always the battery is at fault. it could be a motherboard problem too. check on the link. there are actually too many reasons for that and number one is the battery.
