Trying to keep a dynamic ip

I'm trying to find a software or shareware that will allow me to hold onto my dynamic ip address that is provided from my isp. I've tried using Keep My IP 1.0 which worked only for a couple of days and then it releases my ip address. Any suggestions?

instead of trying to keep your IP (not likely) why don't you use dynamic dns?

The assignment of the IP is not under your control. Therefore using a suggestion like vass0922 & whitebeard21 is your best alternative.
